Educational Plan Report City of Philadelphia Department of Education
Mayor Michael Nutter has made education one of the top priorities of his administration. To help Mayor Nutter outline and introduce his educational plan, Paragraph created a concept entitled “The Will & The Way.” It was introduced in a speech given on September 11, 2008 at South Philadelphia High School, and all audience members walked away with a simple and straightforward takeaway that communicated the initiative and the steps we can all take to ensure educational excellence for all Philadelphians.
Paragraph will continue to work with the Mayor’s Office to develop his educational plan. Stay tuned.
New Brand Mark and Tagline NewCourtland Elder Services
This year, NewCourtland’s award-winning intergenerational arts and entertainment program — “Comfort & Joy” — celebrates its tenth anniversary. Comfort & Joy is an award-winning intergenerational arts program that allows seniors to celebrate their artistic talents and tell their life story.
To communicate the program’s offering, Paragraph developed a new brand mark and tagline, “the art and soul of generations.” In the coming months, we will leverage this new brand mark, tagline, and other visual and verbal elements to create a new Comfort & Joy brochure that documents and celebrates the program’s unprecedented success over the years.
Website Design and Development Moore College of Art & Design
After creating Moore College of Art & Design’s 2008 B.F.A. Catalog, Paragraph was asked to translate the look, feel, and language of the catalog into a new website.
Leveraging the theme of the catalog, “This is me, this is Moore,” the website primarily serves as a marketing tool to attract prospective students. Through student bios and personal accounts, prospective students gain an insider’s, first-person perspective on Moore’s culture and environment and begin to connect with current students, faculty, and alumnae on a personal level.
The site also serves the college’s secondary audiences and strengthens the Moore community. Current students, faculty, staff, alumnae, and the larger local and arts communities can stay informed and connected to each other and to the college through a dynamic calendar, dedicated content, recent news postings, artists links, and online galleries.

Brand Revitalization and Website Design and Development Nordon
Based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Nordon is a manufacturer’s representative and wholesale distributor of foodservice equipment. The company does more than provide equipment, it delivers solutions. Learn how Paragraph is helping them define their difference. > Get the full story
The foodservice equipment industry is often considered a commodities market. However, Nordon’s offering goes beyond sales and delivery and includes a broad range of marketing and intelligence-based services.
To showcase Nordon’s comprehensive offering, Paragraph developed the tagline, “Beyond Equipment,” and created the communications collateral to share that story with its many audiences.
Paragraph also created a new website that provides a high-level view of the product lines the company represents and distributes, as well as the solutions and services they offer. It also offers added value to its audiences through a “Knowledge Center” that provides industry-specific information covering everything from cooking tips for restaurants, to design tips for consulting, to even bottling and packaging innovations for its food and manufacturing clients.

Website Award Graduate! Philadelphia
Paragraph’s work for Graduate! Philadelphia has been recognized by Work Wonk in its first-ever collection of best workforce development websites.
Earlier this year, Paragraph helped Graduate! Philadelphia — the Philadelphia-based nonprofit committed to helping adults with some college experience return to college to complete their degree — bring their initiative to life through an outreach center, marketing materials, and website.
The website is more than simply a marketing piece to advertise the organization’s services, it’s also a valuable tool that helps Graduate! Philadelphia’s staff and adults who are using its services track progress as they work toward their shared goal, a college degree.
The website was recently recognized by Work Wonk — The Workforce Development Channel — for excellence in nonprofit, economic development, communications.
